- A Psychology and Chicano Studies alumnus from SDSU and of USD’s Nonprofit Management & Leadership masters program. Pedro has been involved in the development and implementation of programs throughout California. In 1998 Pedro acted as a volunteer staff member and facilitator at Camp Anytown and was actively involved with NCCJ as a volunteer. Pedro received awards for his work in fighting bias, bigotry and racism including the International Reebok Human Rights Award The Channel 10 Leadership Award, Cesar E. Chavez Social Justice Award, and he was inducted into the Sweetwater Schools District Hall of Fame. Pedro most recently served as the Associate Executive Director for the Jackie Robinson Family YMCA; Pedro is proud to be part of Danza Mexicayotl. Pedro is married to Rosalina Anaya and on October 2008 they welcomed their first daughter Dahlia Citlali Anaya.
